Online Businesses– What You HAVE To Know About The Training

August 28th, 2008
by TheLastBestBiz Team

Which home business opportunity is the right one for you is not an easy question to answer. Each company’s marketing materials and website are designed to show you enough of the positives to get you to say yes, and a small enough amount of the negatives to keep you from saying no. This is not good nor bad in itself; it’s just the way it is. Over the years, I have evaluated over one hundred business opportunities, gradually developing a list of “Things I Need to Learn.” I then subtitled them Things To Learn About The Company, About The Products, About The Pay Plan, and About The Training. This article will cover will show you what you need to know about the training.

Things you want to know about the training

1. Training is the first, and most important factor to your success. Most good companies have some kind of generic company level training program. It is aimed at what they think the most common recruit would need to know. It also is specifically designed to that company and their products. The time, energy, and money you spend here might not pay a dividend to you if you try to transfer it to a different company or product. Before you join any company, make sure the available training will help you become a successful Internet marketer, and not merely help you sell their products.

2. You need access to someone who can answer your specific questions. It is NOT important that you be enrolled in a program directly under one of the company’s big hitters to get good training. In fact, many times it is actually a hindrance to your development because you might be one of thousands in his group, and competing for time is often a losing battle. It would be much the better for you to be enrolled under someone who is newer to the business, and who had (or perhaps still is) dealing with the same struggles as you. You should expect them to be responsive to your questions and needs, and be willing to find out the answers to those questions he doesn’t know the answer to.

3. Before you join any opportunity, find out if there is more than one single, replicated company website available to you. It will be nearly impossible to stand apart from the crowd if all you will have to work with is the same thing that everyone else has. The training you get should include things like strategies and tips and on how to get people to visit your site (besides the potentially expensive pay per click), as well as how to set up your own capture pages, landing pages, and autoresponders.

4. Training also should not include “How to hold meetings in hotels,” or other such nonsense, unless your goal is to learn to become a great hotel meeting presenter. Hotel and home meetings are not part of Internet marketing.

Since you are one of millions searching for ways to make money on the Internet, I suggest you look at a business whose training is the best available. Big Ticket to Wealth’s training is designed to help you become an Internet marketer. When you master what they teach, you will be successful marketing any product or plan you choose on the Internet.

Craig goes from his own experience in the filed and gives detailed tips on how to use techniques to maximize results at minimum cost. He does this in a most logical fashion which is easy to follow.

Secret Affiliate Code includes videos on each of the key topics, as well as audio interviews with Alex Goad, Willie Crawford, Eric Rockefeller and Charles Kirkland who discuss their universal secrets to success. Seven Ways Teenagers Make Money

August 27th, 2008
by William Blake

Since the government has established laws that restrict how much teenagers can work, it may be difficult for them earn more than their parents’ allowance provides. Consider the following seven ideas for how teens can make additional money regardless of whether or not they are able to work secularly.

1. Babysitting A classic job for teenagers, babysitting jobs are usually easy to come by in the local neighborhood. Teens may have already shown their ability to baby-sit at home and it won’t be difficult to start taking care of other people’s children. If they don’t feel confident in their ability to care for babies, they can choose to only care for toddlers and younger children.

2. Mow the lawn. Most people would rather help a child that wants to work than pay a lawn care service. Invest in a good lawnmower and get going. The business will be busy in the spring and summer months. Keeping a date planner with appointment times and dates avoids booking more work than they can handle. Lawn mowing is hard work, but rewarding work.

3. Assisting senior citizens Teenagers can help care for the needs of elderly neighbors who need assistance around the house with small jobs such as yard work. Older teenagers could also offer to drive senior citizens to the grocery store and various appointments. Parents can help their kids make handouts describing services they will offer and the price they plan to charge.

4. Walk those dogs! I’ve seen people come home from work to take care of a new puppy. They need set schedules to train them to go to the bathroom and play time to exercise those limbs. A pet service could be the thing your teen needs to make some money. This service can be just pet walking or it can include a certain amount of grooming. If they have their own pet, they will have learned how to care for them and that expertise can be valuable.

5. Apply for a retail job Department stores often hire teenagers to do seasonal work, especially during the summer and winter. If teens do this, they will be able to enjoy the benefits that come along with this type of job, like discounted purchases in the store where they work.

6. Clean out the garage. If your garage looks like mine, that is a job and a half. Enlist the organizational skills of your teenager to set the garage to rights. The fee can be negotiated ahead of time depending on what actually needs to be done.

7. Make an online business Many kids are quite skilled at using the Internet, and especially talented kids can use an online marketplace like eBay to make money selling goods and services. Teens who like to write can put this skill to use financially by being paid for submitting articles to websites like Associated Content.

The seven ideas in this article are just a few of the many ways extra cash can be earned by teenagers. They may have their own ideas that they are interested in pursuing as well.

The Smart Way To Monetize Your List

August 26th, 2008
by John Anghelache

Smart online marketers know that your email list contains big money.

By building a large and ever growing list of responsive subscribers you can make all the money you’ll ever need.

What’s the best way to do that? Check this out…

You’re about to discover a secret to making easy money from any email list. First, let’s get clear about why people join your list. This is important for you to really understand.

Email subscribers want good information. They want it frequently without getting overwhelmed with emails. And they expect to get pitched.

Join an autoresponder service so you can keep in contact with the folks on your list. Send them an electronic newsletter about the topic they are interested in. A couple of times a week email them offers you feel good about.

Let’s put these fundamentals together. My suggestion is that you get set up with a web-based autoresponder service. Then plug in 52 pure content emails that go out once per week. These will give your subscribers the first two things they want: contact and content.

Besides the content ezine, send out a couple of offers per week also.

Use email broadcasts for these sales offers at first. In time, you can include the winning offers in your follow up autoresponder series.

You can start out by promoting products you affilite with. It’s a good idea to send out two or even three offers for the same affiliate product in a one week period.

Then do the same thing with the second affiliate product. Repeat this process until you go through all of them.

Once you run through the affiliate product promotions see which ones were best sellers. Take the two or three you got the most sales from and use those to create your own version of them. Of course, this is easiest to do with information type products like ebooks.

It won’t take long before you develop a few products of your own. Ones that are proven to sell. Then you start promoting those products to your list in place of the affiliate products.

In addition, you can take the one product that is bringing in the most money… and… create a high priced info product.

If you want to, you can just skip to creating the high priced product. Just take the same two or three best selling affiliate products and create a coaching program or high priced info product.

Do this over and over again and you’ll probably be making six-figures from your list.

What You Must Know To Choose The Right Online Business For You

August 26th, 2008
by TheLastBestBiz Team

Evaluating a home business opportunity objectively is not always an easy task. Everyone’s website and marketing materials are designed to highlight the positives and evade the potential negatives. This is neither good nor bad in itself; it’s just a fact. After seriously looking at over 100 business opportunities, I developed a checklist of “Things to Know.” These are broken down under the subheadings of Things You HAVE To Know About The Company, Things You HAVE To Know About The Products, Things You HAVE To Know About The The Pay Plan, and Things You HAVE To Know About The Training. This article will cover the first category.

What you must find out about the company

1. First and foremost, find out about the company itself. I have found that one of the quickest ways to do this is to Google “abc company,” or “abc scam.” Remember, though, that with any company, there will be people who paid their fees and did no actual work, and then who will report that they were ripped off, so take criticism with a grain of salt. However, if the same things come up over and over from different people, take that as a sign that all is not well.

2. Go straight to the company website, if you can, to find out about the big dogs — the owners, principals, and CEO. The time a company has around is a consideration, but every big company was once a little one, and the people who started when it was new generally are hauling in the biggest bucks. The crucial things here are that the website tell you who theprincipals are, and that you can find information about them on the web. If there is any suspicion that they are not of great character, stay away. Also, be shy of any business that will not offer this information where you can fiind it easily on their website.

3. If you can’t tell the name of the company and their basic business on the first page of their marketing page, go to the next business. There has to be a reason that they don’t put that information where you can find it. It reminds me too much of the old Amway (whom I love) days when you could tell your friend anything except that it was Amway. I have been to as many as seven pages before any information about the real business came up.

4. If you have to give out your phone number to get further information, watch out. I’m not saying blow them off completely, but do beware. Whether or not to talk on the phone should be your decision, not theirs. If the site won’t give you the information you want, you could get caught up in the scripted, flashy sales talk, and could make a decision you later wished you hadn’t. Also, eliminate any opportunity that wants you to pay for information. Forty nine dollars to find out what you’re doing? I don’t think so.

If you are satisfied with the company, find out what you need to know about the products, the pay plan, and the training

3 Ways To Generate Profitable Business Ideas Anytime

August 26th, 2008
by Kim and Charles Petty

All businesses are created first by ideas. Then once you’re in business you need ideas for marketing, advertising, solving problems, product development etc. The difference between success or failure could be one just one idea. That’s all! Below are three ways to generate profitable business ideas.

1. Communicating regularly with other business people can generate many ideas. There are many resources online and offline to meet new business people lie; seminars, chat rooms, discussion boards, trade shows etc. Sharing your knowledge, asking questions, and taking in new information will stimulate your mind. Your brain will begin to put all this information together to create profitable business ideas.

2. If you’re not much of a communicator, try reading. Reading can also stimulate your mind. Read business books, magazines, e-books, web sites, journals, e-zines, newspapers etc. Your brain will generate profitable ideas by absorbing and rearranging this information on a regular basis.

3. Don’t have a lot of time to read? You could listen to business audio books, seminars and courses. Listen to them in the car, while your doing house work, working in the yard, or exercising. Also, tune in business related radio stations. This will help you save time and generate profitable business ideas at the same time.

There are a few extra tips that will help improve these idea generation strategies. Take short breaks to brainstorm about the information you absorbed. Keep a notepad and pen handy to record your ideas so you don’t forget them. All businesses need profitable business ideas to stay ahead of competition and survive.

Social Media Marketing on Facebook

August 25th, 2008
by Derrick Markotter

Is it possible to make over $25,000 in three weeks on Facebook? It certainly is. Brian Campbell did just that in May 2008, and he’s shown people how it can be done. And the techniques he uses apply just as well to other social networking sites, like MySpace, Bebo, Hi5 and LinkedIn.

So how did he do it? It would be impossible to tell you all of Brian’s techniques in this short article. He actually shared everything in a 3 1/2 hour video series, which he gave away for free. However, some of the methods are quite simple and straight forward:

The most important thing is to create a network of contacts. Obviously, you can start by building up your list of friends. If you invite too many people to be your friend too quickly, Facebook will send you a warning message. Between 20 and 30 a day seems to be safe. You can find people to invite by looking through your friends’ lists of friends, and by joining groups and looking through their member lists.

It’s important to send a personal message to everyone you invite. People are more likely to confirm your request if you let them know that you share a common interest. If it’s someone whose name you recognise, tell them so!

The best way to get friends is by having people invite you to become their friend. You do this by being visible - and being sociable - posting comments, photos and videos on your friends’ profiles, for example. That person’s friends see what you’ve posted, and hopefully ask you to be their friend as well.

Starting a group - and eventually a number of groups - is a great way to expand your network of contacts. Group members don’t have to be your friends, but you can start getting members into your group by inviting your friends - and asking them to invite their friends as well. Give away lots of useful information - articles, downloads and videos are all good.

All the people in your groups as well as all your friends form your network of contacts. Ultimately, you want to get people to sign up for your newsletter, so that you can contact them without going through Facebook.

Brian Campbell is giving away free access to a new training course called the Social Media Monetization System. There’s over 10 hours of training, including the 3 1/2 hour video series where he shows you step-by-step how he made $25,121 on Facebook in only 21 days. Access is limited, so sign up right now.

The Shocking Truth Is Always That There Is No “Shocking Truth

August 25th, 2008
by TheLastBestBiz Team

How many times have you seen the words, “The Shocking Truth” in your search for the home business that fits you best. How many have you read? I have read a few hundred, and I can make the statement that there really are no “shocking truths.”

It seems to work like this. You are Googling away, minding your own business, looking for things like, “home based business,” “earn money online,” or “best online business.” You see ad after ad, all promising the most money for the least effort. One catches your eye. In bold print, it proclaims “The Best Business Ever!” You do more searches, checking out The Best Business Ever!, and it is starting to look very attractive. Then, an ad catches your eye. Right there, in the top pay per click slot on the right, you see the headline “The Shocking Truth About The Best Business Ever!” You want to make sure you don’t get into something without fully checking it out, so you decide you had better find out just what this shocking truth is. You click on the link, and here is what you find:

“The Best Business Ever” is a scam. It may work for a very few people, but it won’t work for you. What you need is “Better Than The Best Business Ever!” On and on it goes about Better Than The Best Business Ever. Nothing more is said about The Best Business Ever. You find out that the shocking truth is that it may work for some people, but it won’t for you. Wow, you think. That would be a waste of money. You then start checking out Better Than The Best Business Ever, and (NO!) there in the paid ads you see it again, at the top, except this time it says, “The Shocking Truth About Better Than The Best Business Ever!”

Another tactic you will see frequently is the “Why I Didn’t Join” approach. “Why I Didn’t Join” ads are nearly as numerous as the Shocking Truth ads. They tell you that I didn’t join THEM because I joined (fill in the blank), and if you aren’t a complete idoit, you will allso. And by the way, I made over $200,000 in the first three days without doing anything. The purpose of both these approaches is to divert your attention away from the company or opportunity you are evaluating and point it at theirs.

So, what do you do? First, get your information about a company from somebody associated doing that business. It obviously makes money for some people, or you wouldn’t have run into it in the first place. More accurately, your question should be can it work for you? As crucial as determining what you DO want is determining what you DON’T want. Develop your own list of characteristics the business must have, and make yourself stick to it. For instance, if you want to know about the owners and can’t find it on the website, move on. If you want to have a business that doesn’t pass up sales to an upline, and this one does, move on. I had thirteen deal breakers on my list. It took me years to find a company that finally passed all thirteen tests.

The shocking truth about this business is that it works as advertised. Find out what I found out at TheLastBestBiz .
